Dear Jim and Fred,
It has come to our attention that you are displaying the American Cancer Society logo on your webpages (see URLs below). The mark, American Cancer Society, and the American Cancer Society logo are registered trademarks of the American Cancer Society, Inc., and are copyrighted by and proprietary to the American Cancer Society, Inc., and may not be copied, reproduced, transmitted, displayed, performed, distributed, sublicensed, altered, stored for subsequent use, or otherwise used in whole or in part in any manner without ACS's prior written consent.
While we sincerely appreciate your dedication and support, we must require that you immediately remove the ACS logo from your website. Please promptly respond once you have done so.
I would also like to make you aware that we are working on an ACS Support Badge that we will be able to offer to constituents and supporters such as yourselves who are dedicating so much time, participation and heart in the fight against cancer. At the moment, we do offer a "More Birthdays" blog badge that you can download. Go to http://www.morebirthdays.com/morebirthdays/coolstuff.asp to obtain the badge.

Dear Danielle,
This website facilitated the raising of over $5000.00 for the ACS (American Cancer Society - cancer.org) and you have the audacity to send me a 'cease and desist' email about a logo? This is amazing!
I will remove all reference of ACS, in text and images, from my website and replace it with this correspondence.
You are awesome!
James Gibbons
